SOUTHLAKE, Texas and NEW YORK, New York – March 27, 2017 – Insight Equity Holdings LLC (“Insight Equity”), a leading middle-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce the internal promotion of Dan Davidson who has been promoted to Senior Vice President.
In 2014, Dan returned to Insight Equity as a Vice President after receiving his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is based out of the firm’s New York office. Since his return, Dan has been a valuable member of the firm contributing to deal execution, as well as operational improvement within the portfolio. Dan helps manage Insight Equity’s investments in Micross Components, a leading global provider of specialty electronic components for military, space, medical, and industrial applications; and Panolam, a leading designer and manufacturer of highly engineered, integrated surface solutions including high-pressure laminates, thermally-fused laminates, fiberglass reinforced laminates, and other specialty products.

Before business school, Dan was a Senior Associate at Insight Equity. Prior, he was a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Finance, Turnaround, and Restructuring Group of FTI Consulting. Dan also graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance and Economics. Additionally, Dan is a CFA Charterholder.
